Willie M. Slone, a beloved husband, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2025, in Kalamazoo, MI, at the age of 71. Born on February 12, 1954, in Pippa Passes, KY, Willie lived a life marked by service, laughter, and love.

An Army Veteran, Willie dedicated 19 years of his life to serving his country, demonstrating a commitment to duty that was only matched by his compassion for others. His time as a Plant Manager for Coachman RV's was where he not only excelled professionally but also found the love of his life. It was 26 years ago when he met Kay; their connection blossomed into a beautiful marriage in 2010. Together, they built a life filled with joy, humor, and countless memories.

Willie was a man who possessed a great sense of humor and a genuine love for people. He had a unique gift for storytelling that brought smiles to the faces of his family and friends. His willingness to lend a hand or offer support whenever someone was in need only deepened the fondness those around him felt.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Willie found solace and enjoyment in the great outdoors. He cherished moments spent fishing along the river and enjoyed golfing in Middlebury and Saginaw. These passions reflected his appreciation for nature and the simple pleasures of life.
