Born on November 11, 1950, in Kalamazoo, MI, she left behind a legacy that will forever be cherished by her family and those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Sharon dedicated 40 plus years of her life to nurturing children in her career in child care, where her warm spirit and gentle nature created lasting impressions on countless little lives. She was not just a caregiver; she was a confidante and a champion for each child’s potential, fostering an environment filled with love and compassion.
Known affectionately as the “baseball mom” among her community, Sharon became a familiar and cherished face at local fields, never missing a game for her grandson Mathew—no matter how near or far. Her homemade chocolate chip cookies were a highlight for many eager young players. But her nurturing personality extended far beyond the ballpark. Those fortunate enough to share a moment with her appreciated her as the best gossip buddy, always ready with a listening ear and a Coke in hand, making her presence a source of comfort and joy.
Her pride in her grandchildren’s accomplishments knew no bounds. She thoroughly enjoyed attending Alyssa’s band concerts and admired Alyssa’s dedication to music. Sharon celebrated every note and performance, reflecting her deep appreciation for Alyssa’s talents.
Gracie, her pageant princess, held a special place in Sharon’s heart. Grandma was there to support and guide her through each competition, delighting in the confidence and grace Gracie gained through the experience. Sharon was incredibly proud of the poised young lady that pageants shaped Gracie into.
A graduate of Bloomingdale High School, Sharon was a beautiful and devoted wife of 54 years to her husband, Richard Eisner. Together, they formed a partnership built on love and mutual respect, shining brightly through the years of their life together. The warmth of their relationship extended through their family, including their sons, Shaun (Rebecca) Eisner and Brett (Jason) Eisner, who carry forward her spirit and resilience. Sharon was a proud grandmother to Tara, Allen (Samantha), Mathew (Alexa), Alyssa (Elise), Gracie, and Aaliyha, and a devoted great-grandmother to Bryson, Elliott, Ariah, Malina, Aubrey, Dawson, Brantley, Nevaeh, Haylee, Carson and Anthony. Her family admired and revered her as a guiding light in their lives.
Sharon's big heart embraced everyone she met. Her unshakable faith in God guided her every step, serving as a foundation for the selfless love and kindness she extended to all. She possessed an unselfish spirit that touched individuals far and wide, earning her the love and respect of many friends and family members. Her legacy is not just in the memories shared but in the values of love, faith, and compassion she instilled in others
She is survived by her devoted husband, Richard Eisner, her loving sons Shaun and Brett Eisner, and her adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom will continue to honor her memory with the same passion for love and kindness that she exemplified throughout her life.
Sharon rests with her beloved parents, Burley Boyd Howe and Marjorie Ellen Larsen, and her brother Randy Howe, as well as two cherished children Dustin and Seth. While she will be profoundly missed, her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who had the honor of knowing her. Her life was a testament to love, devotion, and unwavering support, leaving an indelible mark on those who were fortunate enough to cross her path.
