Robert John Allen II, a cherished son, brother, and friend, passed away on March 10, 2025, in Coldwater, MI, at the tender age of 20. Born on March 22, 2004, Robert was a beacon of joy and warmth to all who knew him. He was not just a family member; he was the peacekeeper whose love and compassion transcended the everyday.
Robert's dedication to his Viking heritage was evident in both his passions and personality. He had a unique charm that drew people in and made them feel valued. Whether through his engaging conversations or the simple act of listening, Robert was always there, ready to lend a caring ear or provide support.
His love for video games, particularly Valheim and Sea of Thieves, provided him with a sanctuary—a safe space where he could explore and create. Robert had ambitious dreams of becoming a gaming designer, a path he eagerly pursued during his studies. He was ever driven and filled with the exceptional ability to make others smile, often sharing funny videos that left a mark of joy on those around him.
Robert leaves behind his devoted mother, Jessica Evans, and stepfather, Barron Newland. He is also survived by his beloved brothers, Joshua and Bentley, who will forever carry the warmth of his spirit in their hearts. His maternal grandparents, Carol and Harry Bradley, will also hold his memory close, cherishing the moments they had together.
In addition to his family, Robert was blessed with a circle of close friends, including Ryan, T.J., and Dom. Each of them shared unforgettable memories filled with laughter and camaraderie. He held a special place in the hearts of many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss his infectious spirit deeply.
Robert is preceded in death by his grandfather, Denny Smith. Though his time with us was far too brief, Robert’s impact on the lives he touched will resonate through the years to come. His legacy of love, kindness, and determination will live on in everyone who was lucky enough to know him.
As we remember Robert, let us carry forward the lessons he imparted through his gentle nature and unwavering support—always to cherish one another, to strive for our dreams, and to find joy in the simplest of moments. He will be missed more than words can convey, but his spirit will forever remain in our hearts.
"Lo, there do I see my father. Lo, there do I see my mother, and my sisters, and my brothers. Lo, there do I see the line of my people, Back to the beginning! Lo, they do call to me. They bid me take my place among them, In the halls of Valhalla! Where the brave may live forever!"
