Patricia Anne Beaugrand, a proud homemaker and nurturing matriarch, softly departed this world on February 5, 2025, in Kalamazoo, MI, at the age of 86. Born on January 28, 1939, in Chatham, Ontario, Patricia's journey through life was characterized by her caring nature and loving spirit, leaving an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A graduate of South Lyon High School, Patricia enjoyed the art of nurturing those around her. Her warm heart extended beyond her home, as she devoted her life to caring for her family. Known for her kindness, she possessed a personality that could light up a room and soothe anxious hearts. Patricia poured her love into every aspect of her life, from household duties to the relationships she cherished deeply.

One of the great joys of Patricia's life was her garden. She could often be found spending hours tending to her flowers, cultivating a vibrant sanctuary that reflected her nurturing spirit. In addition to her green thumb, she was a dedicated leatherworker, creating beautiful crafts that showcased her creativity and patience.

Patricia leaves behind a legacy of love through her beloved family. She was married to Robert "Bob" Beaugrand, her devoted husband, with whom she shared a lifetime of memories. Patricia left behind four children: Bonnie Marie Beaugrand, Patrick "Pat" Beaugrand, Cathy Voorhess(Jeff) and Jeffrey "Jeff" Beaugrand. Patricia embraced her role as a mother and took pride in nurturing her children, instilling values of kindness and empathy that continue to echo through their lives.

Her family expanded and she found immense joy in the gifts of her grandchildren—Gena, Jeremiah, Kaitlyn, Hope Anne, Jessica, and Heather. Each grandchild held a cherished place in her heart, and Patricia loved them selflessly, shaping their lives with her wisdom and compassion. The blessing of great-grandchildren—Emery, Rhett, and Casey—further enriched her life, offering new joys and cuddles.

Patricia's loving spirit is now reunited with her late family members, including her parents, John Andrews and Olive Andrews (McCray), her brothers Carl, Gordon, Joseph "Joe," and Jack, and her sister Phyllis, along with her sister-in-law, Joan. Though they had to part ways in life, the bonds of love and memory will forever connect them.

As we remember Patricia Anne Beaugrand, we honor a woman who dedicated her life to caring, nurturing, and generously providing love to her family and all those who crossed her path. She passed away peacefully, leaving behind a profound impact and countless treasured memories that will be held dear by her family and friends. Her legacy is one of compassion, creativity, and unconditional love, living on in the hearts of those she touched.
