Leo dedicated his career to the Vanguard Camper Company, where he served as a factory worker and line supervisor. His strong work ethic and dedication earned him the respect of his colleagues, but it was his lively personality that made him a true standout. Always the life of the party, Leo had an infectious energy that drew people in; no one was ever a stranger to him. His laughter and love illuminated every gathering, creating cherished memories that will linger in the minds and hearts of those who knew him.
A proud Army veteran, Leo served his country honorably, embodying the values of duty, loyalty, and camaraderie. After his military service, he returned to civilian life but continued to forge connections with everyone around him. Whether he was sharing a laugh or lending a friendly ear, his warmth was felt by all.
Leo was musically inclined and had a passion for music that infused his life with joy. With a harmonica and guitar always at his side, he expressed his love for various genres, with The Beatles and ACDC holding special places in his heart. His unique touch for ending letters, cards, and notes with his signature and a music note added a personal flair that celebrated the harmony of connection.
Leo is survived by his cherished son, Brandon Larson, and daughter-in-law, Kimberly. His grandchildren, Brayden and Violet Larson, were the light of his life, and he took great pride in being their grandfather. Additionally, he leaves behind his dear cousins, Deborah and Roger Jr., who shared in countless family moments filled with laughter and love.
He was predeceased by his father, Leo Savage, his mother, Claire Savage, and his siblings, Roger Savage, Richard Savage, and Shirley. Their memories will always be a part of Leo's story, as he carried them in his heart throughout his life.
