Kimberly Ann Stager, nee` Detlaff and Seeley, was born on August 28, 1957, in Petoskey, Michigan. She passed away peacefully at her home in Hastings, Michigan, on March 29, 2025, surrounded by her cherished family.
Kim was a devoted wife to her loving husband, Ken, and a proud mother to her three children, Marty (Rachael) Seeley, Jessica (Rupe`) Stager, and Kenneth (Kaylie) Stager III. She found immense joy in her role as a grandmother to her grandchildren, Aaron, Sam, Gia, Scarlett, Briar, and baby Harlow, as well as a great-grandmother to Braylor and Alex.
Her family's legacy is deepened by the love and support of her siblings, Debbie (Tom) Morin, Beth Huber, Becki (Slim) Arendson, and Donald (Kim) Detlaff. Additionally, Kim is survived by her step-mother, Carol Detlaff, and her constant companion, Lucky, who brought her comfort and companionship.
Kim had a vibrant spirit and filled her life with many interests and hobbies that reflected her love for creativity and the outdoors. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, delving into crafting and visiting craft fairs, nurturing her garden, and spending time at the beach. Her love of exploration was evident in her passion for garage sales, always on the lookout for hidden treasures. Furthermore, Kim was an active participant in a national fibromyalgia support group, where she provided encouragement and solidarity to others facing similar challenges.
She was preceded in death by her parents, June Salyer and Donald Detlaff, and her beloved nephew, Brad Huber.
A Celebration of Life is being planned for August 2025, where all who knew and loved Kim will gather to honor her memory and the impact she made on their lives. Her warm spirit, kind heart, and loving nature will be deeply missed by all.
