Kenneth A. Sweeder

Kenneth A. Sweeder, born on March 29, 1947, in Chicago, IL, departed this life peacefully on February 15, 2025, in Kalamazoo. A quiet individual with an introverted nature, Kenneth was known for his straight forward demeanor and preference for solitude. He dedicated many years of his life to his career, having retired from his position at Sears Warehouse.

Kenneth’s interests were simple yet enriching; he found joy in reading and watching television, activities that allowed him to engage with stories and ideas in a personal, contemplative manner. His keen mind and direct approach to life endeared him to those who were fortunate enough to know him well.

He is survived by his devoted brother, Richard (Lisa) Sweeder. Kenneth was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Andrew and Frances (Gerwatowski) Sweeder, and a sister, Karen, who undoubtedly watched over him during his journey.

Kenneth A. Sweeder will be remembered for the quiet strength he embodied throughout his life. He leaves behind a legacy of simplicity and introspection that will resonate within the hearts of those who knew him.
