Barbara June Ryan

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Barbara June Ryan on March 15, 2025. A devoted wife, cherished mother, adored grandmother, and treasured great-grandmother Barb was the heart and soul of her family and brought light and love to everyone she met.

Born on June 8, 1950 in Elgin, Illinois, Barb lived a life filled with compassion, strength, and grace. She married the love of her life, Joseph Earl Ryan, and over their 55 year marriage they built a beautiful family and created countless memories filled with laughter and joy. Their love story remains a testament to unwavering commitment and partnership.

As a mother, Barb was a pillar of wisdom and warmth, always guiding her children with kindness and selflessness. She took immense pride in her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother, showering her grandchildren with unconditional love and boundless energy.

She surrounded herself with friends and family, and they were her greatest joy. She enjoyed making memories with those she loved, playing cards, bowling, and gardening. She was deeply cherished by so many, including a large extended family who will remember her for her kindness, generosity, and love.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Ryan; her children, Eddie Milligan, Brenda Murphy, and Daniel Ryan; and three of her four sisters; Margaret Chapman, Diane Dare, and Sharon Breining.

Barb lived her life as others aim to. She loved and enjoyed life and will live on in the hearts of all who loved her. According to her wishes, she will be cremated and a family memorial service will be held in her honor. The family appreciates your thoughts and cherished memories during this time.
