Ashtyn Karl Small

Ashtyn Karl Small, affectionately known as "baby squishy," was born on December 3, 2024, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Though his time with us was heartbreakingly brief, Ashtyn brought immeasurable joy and warmth to those who had the privilege of knowing him. His beautiful spirit shone brightly, even in the short window of life he was given.

With a heart full of love, Ashtyn was cherished deeply by his devoted mother, Shashana Little, who embraced every moment with her baby boy. He found delight in watching his siblings, Kendryk, Halo, Graysyn, and Milo, as they played together. The laughter and camaraderie of his family provided Ashtyn with a joy that spoke volumes about the love that enveloped him in his early days.

Ashtyn's grandparents, Robbie Little and Trina Vogts, held him dear, their pride evident in the way they cherished his gentle presence. He was also blessed to have the watchful eyes of his great grandparents, Karl and Pat Vogts, who offered their love and guidance to this radiant child.

Tragically, Ashtyn passed away on January 12, 2025, in the very city where he was born, leaving a legacy of love that will forever resonate in the hearts of his family and those who knew him. Though our time with him was far too short, Ashtyn's memory will be a beacon of light and a reminder of the profound love that ties families together.

In the eyes of his family, he was not just a beautiful baby boy, but a treasure who will be remembered for the warmth he brought into their lives and the love that blossomed within the brief moments they shared. As we hold onto the precious memories of Ashtyn, we celebrate the beautiful soul that he was, knowing that he touched the lives of so many, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts. A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 19, 2025 at 12pm at Family First Funeral & Cremation Services 52780 M-40 Marcellus, MI 49067.
